guides that love to fish. Double H Guide Service can provide a variety of exciting salt water fishing

Captain Mike and Captain Bo can plan your trip with anglers that are new to fishing to the experienced anglers.
Customers can choose either live bait or artificial. Captain Mike or Captain Bo will set off on a day's adventure
to fish for the finest salt water fish, the trout, red fish, and flounder in the beautiful bays of Texas Middle Coast.

Captain Mike has 25 years of Texas fishing experience with 6 years fishing the connecting bays of Port O'Connor. He guides from a custom built 24 ft 2009 Hayne Boat powered by 2009 225hp Mercury. Captain Mike had his Hayne boat custom built to meet his guiding needs for comfort and storage. This boat is capable for anglers to wade, boat, or jetty fish out of comfortably. It also has an aluminum ladder allowing wade anglers to easily get back in the boat.

Double H Guide Service offers a new idea to enjoy the coastal bays of Port O'Connor by offering
a new Kayak/Wade fishing package adventure.
Kayak and Wade Fishing Trips Anglers load their own kayaks on board as they plan to explore the isolated flats and back lakes that Captain Bo and Captain Mike can provide. Kayaking offers an exciting experience for anglers that are ready to enjoy fishing at its best! This package allows a group of anglers to share a kayak/wade fishing trip. Two anglers can fish out of their kayaks while the third angler wade fishes with Captain Bo or Captain Mike. Anglers switch off allowing a full day of fun fishing for all.

Fall Bull Redfish Run Trips
Enjoy a day on the water for an exciting "Bull Redfish Run" fishing trip.
During the fall and winter a concentration of large adult red fish moves to the
gulf beaches where anglers can enjoy the exciting rush of reeling in and landing a monster "Bull Red".
Bull Redfish Run Fall Trips Catching and landing a red fish of
this size is a real rush for any angler. After the red fish takes the bait usually of cut mullet the fishing
battle is on. It takes an angler several minutes to land a big redfish. Trying to rush it can even end in the
fish popping or breaking your line. Catching the bull redfish takes time and every minute is filled with
excitement with the redfish spooling your reel and you trying bit by bit to reel him in. These happens until
you have tired him out, and land him as your captain nets him and re-baits your hook for the fun to start all
over again.
Captain Mike and Captain Bo use a circle hook for catching this big fish as it assures an easy way
to hook the fish and safely release the oversized fish back into the water.
